Per BP 2003, Edward Huntly Hooper, of Shelly Hill, Christchurch, Hants., s. of Rev. Edmund Westerton Hooper, m. 1867, Lady Alice Maude, dau. of the 4th Earl Castle Stewart; probably a link, given his middle name and the compound/ double-barrelled surname?

Rev. E. W. Hooper was of the Hooper family of Langtons, Alresford, Hants. - https://archive.org/details/visitationofengl01howa/page/176

Tom Hooper's father is Peter Huntly Hooper, b. 1950, m. 1974, Patricia M. (née Bucknill); his father was John Huntly Hooper (1906-1994), of The Walled Garden, Ledbury, Herefords., who m. 1941, Florence M. M. (née Ennis).

The Visitation pedigree above gives two sons of Edmund Huntly Hooper and Lady Alice, Stuart (1867-1915) and Gerald (1873-1939); a Debrett's on Google books gives Charles Leslie Stuart, b. 1879; one of these is likely father of John, but I can't locate him in the 1911 census to corroborate his parentage.

[EDIT- further research, leading to tentative conclusion:

Stuart m. 1896, Georgina Dora Elliot, dau. of William Elliot Lockhart (see BLG 1921); their son and daughter are with them in the 1911 census resident at Beckenham, Kent, which would appear to exclude John, born at Fylde, Lancs.; I couldn't find a marriage for C. L. S. Hooper. Gerald m. 1900, Florence Helen, dau. of  Mumford; they are resident at Huncoat, Lancs. in the 1901 census, which puts them in the right sort of area for John to have been born there 1906. Gerald's probate record mentions 'Florence Helen Hooper, widow' and 'Helen Lavender Hooper, spinster'; Helen might be a daughter. A Helen Lavender Hooper was born at Burnley, Lancs. in 1903; the 1911 census has a Helen L. Hooper b. 1904, 'Accrington Lane, Lancashire' alongside a John Huntley (sic) Hooper, b. 1907, resident at Honiton, Devon, with three servants; their parents are not present. This would strongly indicate to me that Helen and John (father of Peter Huntly Hooper, as above) were children of Gerald Huntly Hooper (1873-1939), as featured in the Visitation pedigree at the URL above.]

Just a note regarding discrepancies in some names-

Burke's appears to be the only source- dating back many years- for 'Edward' Huntly Hooper and his father 'Edmund Westerton' Hooper; Armorial Families, Alumni Oxonienses etc. have EDMUND Huntly Hooper as son of Rev. Webster Frederick Henry Hooper, and given the relative number of results, I'd say the latter names are correct.

Additionally, the Visitation pedigree has Henry Hooper as husband of Caroline, dau. of 'Sir Edward Rouse Boughton, baronet'; presumably- given her christening in 1787- this to be Sir Edward Boughton, 8th Bt of the Boughton baronets of Lawford, Warwicks (cr. 1642); it appears that it was the (1st and) 9th Bt, his younger brother, who first used the name 'Rouse'.
