A strange coincidence that just three months earlier, Henry Crofton, son of the 9th Baronet of Mohill, became engaged to Baroness Sophie von Maltzahn. 

The Crofton of Mohill Baronets are only distantly related to the Lords Crofton, and Sophie von Maltzahn is only distantly related to Marie-Isabelle Maltzan, but still it was surprising to see the two engagements so close together.

In the case of the Crofton barony, the 8th Baron is still shown as unmarried.

In the case of Henry Crofton, the heir to the Crofton baronetcy mentioned in this thread, they married in 2018, and have a daughter born a year later.

As of the death of her grandmother (see here:  https://groups.google.com/g/peerage-news/c/M-cCJMplcd0 ) Lord Crofton and Isabelle are married. No children are listed, though great-grandchildren are not always listed in such announcements.

About the name difference between "Maltzan" and "Wartenberg und Penzlin" [and it is "Wartenberg", not "Wartenburg"]:

This is a huge German noble family (my own file on them runs to forty-six pages) of which some branches attained baronial [Freiherrliche] and some comital rank. Some branches spell the main surname "Maltzahn" and some "Maltzan".

The branch relevant to this thread attained Freiherrliche rank in 1530. Technically they have the surname "Maltzan", followed by the title "Freiherr/Freifrau/Freiin zu Wartenberg und Penzlin", which is the form used in the heading of the death announcement of Isabelle's grandmother Maria. However, they more familiarly use the form "Freiherr/Freifrau/Freiin von Maltzan", as can be seen in the same announcement for the children and grandchildren of Maria.
