It could be the device (or even the browser) you are using.  I haven't been able to post or reply on my iPhone/iPad for about 5 years and can only do so on my laptop  - see  this group - problems

Thanks. I now figured it out. I haven't used Google Groups for postings for our decade. It was very different then. Facebook and LinkedIn groups to over many of my interests. I will delete my top posting later today, since it is not really relevant here on the "front page".

Thanks Nick.
I recommend you now delete this post. It's up to you, but I believe it contains a lot of personal information that malicious internet users would love to have.

Great genealogical site, Nick.

If I may, Nick's great-grandfather was Gunnar Asgeir Sadolin (1874-1955), founder of the eponymous paint manufacturer.

Gunnar Asgeir Sadolin was the son of Ole Jørgen Sadolin and  Louise Suzette Emilie MACGREGOR Marcussen (1838-1906), d. of Ulrich Christian Marcussen and Agnes Marie Coleman MACGREGOR OF INNEREGNY (1815-1883), d. of Francis Emanuel Coleman MACGREGOR OF INNEREGNY, 5th Laird of Inverenzie (1783-1876).

Hi Richard,

That would be my next topic here.

I tried to delete in my emails, but it still appeared in the group.

How do I delete it? Or can you delete it?

Nick

I have no idea how you delete a post from a mobile device/tablet. If you are on desktop/laptop, you can click the little 3 buttons on the right side and hit delete for that post in the thread. The first message should be deleted, it contains far too much personal info to be present here online.
