this group - problems

Does anyone know why - since google groups changed its format - I can't post a "new conversation" or reply to posts on my iphone - never had a problem before the Change.  Works perfectly well on my aged Sony Vaio laptop

seems it is a widespread problem. There are some work-arounds mentioned in this thread but they don't seem to work for everyone.

I've had the same problem (of not being able to reply) - on a desktop, not a phone.  Conveniently for Google, it seems to work if I'm using THEIR browser Chrome, but not on some other browser like Mozilla's Firefox.  And the workaround Google gives for other browsers is too extreme:  "clear cache and all cookies".

 That's strange, as I only ever use Firefox and have not had any issues posting since the change.

Clearing the cache shouldn't cause problems (I don't use a disk-based cache in Firefox anyway to preserve my SSD!) You can also clear cookies for just groups.google.com. Clearing others will make no difference anyway.
