From the Times of 12 Oct 2024: PATTIE Sir Geoffrey on 8th October 2024 It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sir Geoffrey Pattie who died peacefully at home in Duncton on Tuesday 8th October 2024. A funeral service announcement will follow shortly.

He was s of Alfred Edwin PATTIE 1898-1982 of Hove, Sussex and Ada Olive 1904-80 d of William Edward/Edwin CARR c1858-1927 by his 15 Dec 1894 m (St Hilda’s, Darlington) to Margaret Ellen MASON 1868-1943. He m 1960 Tuëma Caroline b 1938 d of Charles William EYRE-MAUNSELL 1908-89 scion of the MAUNSELL Irish gentry family and Honor Mabel 1908-98 d of Francis Carmichael PURSER OBE 1876-1934 of Knockraheen Hse, Roundwood, co Wicklow by his 1902 m to Lucy Mabel 1873-1957 d of Very Rev Lucius Henry O’BRIEN 1842-1913 (gs of Sir Edward O’BRIEN 4^th Bt 1773-1837 who was f of 13^th Baron INCHIQUIN 1800-72) and Emily Mary Hannah MONTGOMERY 1848-1942, and had a son and a dau.
