He was the eldest & last surviving of 3 sons of Maj Martin John MCLAREN 1914-79 (gs of 1st Baron ABERCONWAY 1850-1934) and Nancy 1921-2020 d of Gordon Springer RALSTON 1896-1932 (b&d Canada) by his 1920 m to Nita Josephine 1898-1974 (having m 2nd 1933 Philip Cator) d of Henry (Harry) William Radcliff TISDALL 1864-1926 and Marie Alice FITCH (1869-). He m 2008 as her 2nd h Diana Catherine b 1953 reg Q4 London (having m 1st 1978 reg Q3 E. Sussex Jeremy B C Lazenby) d of Ronald Charles HOWELL OBE [1923-93] by his 1949 m reg Q3 London to Florece C GOODYEAR b 1925 reg Q3 London, who survives him
