Clueless newbie question about viewing my photos on a Map

I've long been looking for a website that would take my photos and let me see them on Google Maps.

The photos all have gps data in the exif data.

I uploaded a few to Panoramio, and immediately saw them all on the map by clicking the "VIEW ON MAP" link. This was good.

So, I uploaded a bunch more photos, and now I don't see any of my photos at all when I click "VIEW ON MAP".

Everything I see in the help is geared towards some kind of social media sharing thing where photos are "transferred to google maps". I have no interest in this. I don't care if panoramio sees my photos or likes my photos or wants my photos.

I just want to see my photos on the map like I was able to when I first uploaded my photos.

So, with all that said: what did I do wrong, and how do I get my photos back on the "VIEW ON MAP" link?

Technically, you cannot do anything more or better to see your photos on Panoramio map.

There is a bug (in Panoramio/Google) so only very old photos are shown on map using "view on map" link.

(well... IMHO, you can try to make better technical quality photos and better selection of photos you expose publicly on Panoramio, 

but this is not the related to the issue with "view on map")
