Where are my photos Panoramio Map, Google Earth and Google Maps; compilation, second try.

It seems to be impossible to stay on topic so I will start this thread again, this time it will be locked.
Concerning the Panoramio Map:
- Photos on the Panoramio Map have not been updated since mid August 2014
- The Panoramio Map has been changed. There is a bird view now (if a 3D map is available, big cities mostly), with the possibility to rotate and pan the map : see also this thread from ikar.us
N.B. When there is a bird view Map available you can find at the right bottom above the zoom bar 4 "points" in perspective. Click and now it are only 4 "points", the map will be North orientated also
- The cycling between Popular, Recent, Places, and Your pictures tabs on Panoramio Map has been repaired. Previously there was no map refresh when one clicks on another tab and f.e. your pics mixed with popular ones. Now it works properly. see this thread from vtgbart
Concerning Google Maps
- Since the new GM there are less photos visible. Photos can be found on the photo bar on the bottom of the map. Many more can be found searching POI´s, cities etc.
- On GM there are photos from Panoramio but also from Google Photos, Streetview (inclusing spherical Panoramas from users) and businesses
- Your own photos can be found under settings (three lines left top, "hamburger menu" as our moderator Tomas calls them). Your photos from Panoramio and Photos (formerly Views) can be found under "your contributions".

This thread should keep us up to date on what we know and what we do not know. We, meaning all those Panoramio users that browse blogs, fora, etc about Panoramio in combination with any map at all within Google. So please share in this forum what you know for sure, you can open a new thread in this forum to post your findings. Moderators will add verified news about the maps in this thread.

Concerning Google Earth:
- concerning PA photos: There have not been any updates on the desktop version of GE since 14. May 2015

- KML files for photos have not been updated since the same time as Panoramio map (last photos visible in KML file are from August 2014)
- KML file is broken (after clicking the thumbnail icon, an error message is displayed).
However, you can still use the previous version of KML* file, which works fine (but does not display photos since August 2014 as well)
- The link to the KML file is pretty well hidden in new (acrylic) Panoramio layout.
- Photos after May 2015 are visible in GE 8 for android and not in GE 7 for desktop. see this thread from Baycrest
- The team has been informed about this again and again
- There is no communication to speak of since September 2014
- We don´t know if there is a team for Panoramio

- We never had a direct line to the GE team

You will have to scroll down in the photos to see more markers appear.- We do know that there´s a lot going on concerning Maps|Photos but we do not have any info on what´s going on and how long this will take. Same goes for Maps|Panoramio
- Photos can be directly uploaded to GM (but of course we don´t want that :-) ) using Google Drive, Google Photos or directly through uploader link in GM - see this thread by me
- GM views seem to be counted with the API counts
