Hi Stefan. This error is being generated by the ZWO software, it’s reporting an out-of-memory condition while trying to return a camera image. The ZWO library (supplied by ZWO) was updated as part of the PHD2 dev4 release, so you need to make sure you’re running the latest ZWO camera drivers. Second, you should try the native ZWO camera driver instead of the ASCOM driver and see if that helps.
Regards,
Bruce

You should just run with the defaults assuming you’ve been careful when using the new-profile-wizard (guider focal length, mount guide speed, etc.). Encoders on the RA axis, assuming they work well, will result in low uncorrected periodic error, so PHD2 will just have less work to do. If you want to get a baseline measurement of your mount’s performance, you can follow this guide:
If you couldn’t get a calibration completed, you may have screwed up the new-profile-wizard part, so you should start over. Just follow the procedure above and if the calibration fails, post your guide log. But please open a new thread, this has nothing to do with camera errors and dark frames. You shouldn’t be running SGP or any other imaging app at this point, you need to figure out how PHD2 works by doing things manually. It also sounds like you’re confused about how things are connected. All of the guide cameras use USB connections but you often have a choice of camera drivers – an ASCOM camera driver or a native camera driver. You can use either. The mount can be guided via ASCOM or by ST-4. The ST-4 cable might look like a telephone cable, but it isn’t. To use ASCOM pulse-guiding on a Windows system, the recommended approach, most mounts need a USB-serial connection between the PC and the mount. There’s a long section in the manual that talks about equipment connections, what choices you have, and what the trade-offs are.
Good luck,
