Hi,

I searched the docs and group but couldn't find anything on the CEM26EC, which on has an RA encoder and not both DEC and RA Encoders.

At the new profile wizard should I check the box to say I have an encoder mount? It states for DEC/RA encoded mounts but mine is just an RA encoded mount.

I'm new to PHD2... will I need to adjust any other settings or leave everything else as default as a starting point? Which areas might I need to tweak other than the star exposure time.

I'll post a log if any issues in this thread as a follow up once it's clear again and I  know I have the right settings. Was unable to calibrate last night due to star not moving enough.

Many thanks,
Stefan

Please can you also confirm if I should use ASCOM interface or USB connection? I can choose either. From what I understand using the USB connection to the mount, and the USB connection to the guide scope, is the best method, but I'm not sure. I think using ST4 is not preferable. So should I use the ASCOM driver or the USB Windows driver?

Regards
