We will also arrange campus tour and hiking event. A grill party has been arranged at the beautiful Island Park on Tuesday (9/27) night.
As part of the Michigan Week of Ontology and Semantic Web, the 4th U.S. Semantic Technologies Symposium (US2TS) will also be available for you to attend:
US2TS will be held at East Lansing, Michigan, on September 29-Oct 1.
It’s only one hour driving distance from Ann Arbor to East Lansing, the capital of Michigan.
Welcome to visit Ann Arbor, a beautiful multi-cultural city with many activities available to suit your needs!

Here we would like to provide a list of updates on our ICBO 2022 conference on September 25-28:
First, we have the first version of our tentative agenda or schedule ready:

As you can see from the draft agenda, we have a very rich program with 9 workshops and tutorials, about 20 full-length papers (journal articles or conference papers), posters, 2 keynote and one special arranged speakers, campus tours, hiking, grill dinner, etc. A more detailed agenda is planned to be released next week.
Note that we would also like to announce a new specially arranged workshop in which many of you may be interested:
Title: “First Workshop on the Role of Ontologies in Biomedical AI (ROBI)”
Organizers: Robert Hoehndorf and George Gkoutos (thanks!!)

Another update:
“Poster Abstracts: 1 page extended abstract format, with limited references, due August 25, rolling notification starting July 15.”
So we welcome more late break poster submissions. If possible, please inform more who may be interested in submitting.

you can also use hotel booking tools such as Expedia.com to find more choices.
Note: Due to a football game at Ann Arbor on September 24, it is likely hard to book a hotel room on September 24 (Saturday) in downtown Ann Arbor or near the conference venue. If you want to come on September 24, you may have to book a room in some hotel with some distance from the conference venue. However, you should be able to easily book your hotel rooms after the day of September 24 anywhere. We also suggest that you book your hotel room early if possible. We apologize for any inconvenience it might cause to you.
The recommended airport is the Detroit Metro Airport (DTW):

which is 26 miles (about 30 min of driving) from Michigan League.
you can easily use UBER or Lyft to request a ride to Ann Arbor. It is also possible to make some special pickup arrangements from the airport, which we will consider later.
