Look back and most job posts get lots of responses (most
useless/unrelated really)

Its an impossible battle w/o creating massive work for
moderators/admins to clean up trash.

I'm happy to see these posts. Job postings take up a tiny percentage
of list traffic. Full node adoption is going to take a while. I've
been pushing node at my own company, and it's slow going even though
we're excited about it. Node is still very raw, and smart developers
are not going to replace their entire software stack on a lark. You
lose even reliable db driver support by switching to node at this
point. We're steadily finding more and more places where it solves
problems elegantly, but it's not a one-size-fits-all solution to
everything.

I agree my initial post was mean spirited, and I apologize for that.I disagree however that Node.js being a fundamental part of this particular position was made clearly, in the initial post that is. The poster made the company's interests a lot more clearer in the follow up posts. Putting "PHP/MongoDB Developer - Pants optional" at the start of a subject line on a Node.js mailing list is bound to get more negative attention than positive.

php - isn't that some type of tempting language? Maybe like lego ask for the web?
