I am currently looking for employment and have skills as a geophysicist, researcher, research assistant, acoustical physicist, applied mathematician, sound technician, scientific/technical writer, and editor/proofreader plus fairly good computer skills. My main education has been in geophysics. I am currently (May, 2013) based in St. John's, Newfoundland and hope to find employment here but if I haven't within the next year I will have to give Calgary and Vancouver a try.

I am still on the books as a part-time research assistant but
haven’t had any hours for several months now, though that
may change soon. However I have not updated my LinkedIn
profile or my home page to reflect that, and might not until I
begin seriously looking for work again, which I haven’t been
doing much of during the pandemic.
Note that I did obtain a Ph.D. in May of 2018, and that
should count for something; graduate student years
are generally considered equivalent to full-time
employment though not funded as well.
