Hi, I wanted to share my few favorites themes for mlo. You can download it here:  http://mlothemes.blogspot.com/.

I have 2 questions for next version of MLO:

Are you going to give us more control in design? Mlo is very limited for creating themes, changing colors, for exemple I can't use hex colors like: #265baa or RGB, all colors are usually defined.
Are you going to give us more control in changing fonts? For example I want to have bigger font for all Projects but smaller for all to-dos.

Thx and enjoy themes!.

Very nice work, Mike. Thank you!

Thanks Mike. I never really gave much thought to how MLO themes could be tweaked. I grabbed several you offered. I'm digging the simplyblack and darkblue. Thanks for the share.

Thanks for sharing, Limbic.

Here's the Theme I currently use (the .mlthm file). It's intended to help the user to focus on the active actions.  While items which are not active (folders, future actions or completed actions) are in a light grey font, the eye is drawn to the active actions in the green fontProjects are highlighted by making them blue font. I've also got rid of the pseudo 3D standout effect of gradient fills on due dates, replacing them with simple blocks of feint blue for future due items strong blue for "due soon" and a dark red for overdue items (less "in your face" than the original, bright red).      My list often still has a lot of overdue items...

The complete view uses my icons, in positions 0-3, to indicate project status, context (GTD contexts, cf David Allen's GTD) and flag (for roles and goals, cf Stephen Covey's "7 Habits"). I've also attached that .mlaf file.

If you want the full experience, I've posted my icons in a separate thread, which pinned near the top of this forum.

Hope those are useful for you, too.

Thak you very much for your share.

I would like to know how can I load the .mlaf file so that I can use it?

I´ve already imported the .mlthm file into MLO.

Thank you in advance

To load:
  1. Launch MLO
  2. Tools > Options
  3. Select Automatic Formatting
  4. Click Automatic Formatting Rules
  5. Click Import
  6. Select file
  7. System loads and notifies you of count, click OK
Good luck!

The links to the files no longer work.  Can someone else post these or other themes to share them with the group?

Folks, there is a huge security risk with 7Zip currently. Do NOT open untrusted RAR files with 7zip until it is patched.
