Unauthorized Upgrade

I purchased MLO android v2 in the past. It is now informing me that I have a limited number of days remaining on a new "trial" version 3 of MLO. Apparently MLO auto-upgraded to v3 and I would have to pay to use this new version of MLO.

I did not consent to an upgrade path that would require me to pay additional money.

Can someone please explain why I now have this "trial" version on my phone that I would have to pay for?

What happens when my v3 trial runs out? Will I automatically be downgraded to v2?

Does this comply with Google's terms and conditions re: android apps?

I was confused too but only the added feature pack costs extra. Things like choice entry with Google Assistant. When the trial ends you will still have MLO 3 Pro working.

Don't you control whether apps upgrade or not with the settings you set in Play store?

That's not the point. When we bought MLO Pro for Android, upgrades were
promised to be free

I can find no listing of the features that are included. What are they?

Well, the subject of the post is "Unauthorized Upgrade" but the user authorized Play store to automatically upgrade apps on the device. Seems like the point. Anyways.

I'm pretty sure minor upgrades within the version have been free but major upgrades to a new version have been paid.
