Importance, Urgency and Importance Default Set At Min!

I LOVE your software and have been using it religiously for years.  I think I use a different email address when I buy things for anonymity but I uses sgh...@gmail.com for anything on Google.  My beef is with Importance, Urgency and Effort.  The default should always be the lowest value to give the person as much flexibility on the upside as possible.  The first thing I do with any task is to set all 3 at min.  Why normal and then having to lower those that are lower?  Of course this is more work for me and my request for you to change may produce more work for others if they do not agree with my concept.  I believe there should always be upward movement and never downwards.  My way gives me 6 levels on the upside instead of just 3.

My opinion is that it is good to leave room for a new task to be either higher or lower than default

...Which takes us back to my old request to be able to control what the default values are for things like this, start and due dates, context and flags. As, by now, you'll all know, I would like to set whether each of these parameters is set to a fixed value, today's date, or inherits them from its parent or nearest sibling. Having the ability to set up the behaviours for all these on new tasks would save on loads of clicks or taps.

That's what I miss most about Bonsai (my old, Palm task manager)

One day, I hope that Andrey and team will provide these settings, which would solve a lot of requests (and conflicting requests) like the one on this thread.
