Automatic opening and closing of a place when nearby

I am interested in using the location awareness built into the Android app, and I understand how to use it to trigger a reminder to do local activities. I am also interested to learn if there is there a way of opening and closing a places's tasks automatically according to whether one is nearby? Somehow I haven't found the answer in documentation or by searching this forum.

Thanks, that is one view I haven't yet tried, I will study it. Is there a tutorial or worked example somewhere.

I am also hoping to have nearby items show up just as items in a place which becomes Open would show, so something like an IsNearby action filter would be useful.

Hi, Laurence. I'm pretty confident that the nearby view is the closest thing in MLO to what you are trying to do./

I understand that you could make a much nicer view if you could combine an IsNearby filter with your other advanced filter choices. It's a neat proposal and one I would support. I would be willing to write it up and submit it to the developers for consideration if there were more of a broad base of support for the idea. If you start getting lots of "MeeToo" or "+1" messages  I will write it up.
