Or a single task, repeating monthly, with a mention (either in the description or the notes) that it’s only actionable Jul-Nov
Thus, when the task pops up in Dec-Jun, you know you can check it off each time without disturbing the dog

Subject: Re: [MLO] Yearly reoccurrence of a monthly task (only 6 months: June–November)
For me, i will create 6 tasks, repeat yearly with the appropriate reminder:
June: Give the dog his medicine
July: Give the dog his medicine
August: Give the dog his medicine
September: Give the dog his medicine
October: Give the dog his medicine
November: Give the dog his medicine
I have recurring folders with the following tree structure:
=RECURRING=
Weekly
Monthly
Yearly
I will place the 6 tasks under the 'Yearly' folder.

Hello,
I want to set up a monthly task, "Give the dog his medicine", which only happens from June to November. The cycle repeats every year. What's the most efficient way of defining this in MLO?
Thanks!

There probably is. I guess Dwight is your man for that, when he’s got a moment. Me, I’m fully engaged doing other stuff
