Anyone has encountered this?
Anyone knows how to get them back?
This is a disaster :(

Backups are a must for those who haven't lost anything yet. I don't trust 5 yet, sorry I don't know what might have happened but I expect it.

Especially before moving to the new version. Backups are often the only way to recover stuff like this.

I installed MLO5 today and I had the same concern.
I found that MLO had saved a backup copy of my auto-formatting rules before updating.

Go to Options / Autoformatting / Import, then look for the backup copy in the same folder as your MLO data file. The file will be  named something like xxxx_autoformat_backup.mlaf .

This will append your old rules to the list of new rules, so you might need to re-organize them a bit.

First step...breathe! This is expected, because MLO 5 has a new set of default icons.

This is discussed in the MLO 5 upgrade documentation here (scroll to the Try MLO 5 now!) and read the procedure.

The upgrade of the MLO file splits information into a few different files. Your autoformatting rules should be in an MLAF file in the same folder as your migrated MLO file.
