How can I link 2 tasks other than by using "dependency"?

Hello

Is there any way in MLO to link two tasks together, other than by using "dependency" ?

i.e. I want to be able to click on one task (e.g. one of my "TimePeriod" ) and be taken to another task (e.g. one of my "MajorProject" names ).

The problem is that I can't use Dependency because I am using Active Tasks views and if I make a Task "dependent" on another task, then it disappears from view!

And the reason why I am using the "Active Tasks" view is that I want to be able to "kick tasks into the future" using the Start Date and thereby to disappear from view for a while.

Background

On each day I am trying to plan how I am going to move through my Contexts (and/or Major Projects) during today.

e.g. Is it possible to link a task to a different task in a different MLO file?

You can insert in the note section a link to another task.
There is several ways (right clic drop I guess, keyboard shortcut, and dedicated menu)

In my MLO for windows - when a selected task is a subtask of a Project, the name of the project displays in square brackets, prefixed with Prj:
In the address bar above, clicking on the project-name portion of the Outline tree takes you to a new All Tasks tab focussed on that project

Yes that's slightly useful, athough slightly hard to locate.

What turns out to be more useful is clicking on the task's row itself, without clicking on the tasks title [e.g. on the Icons column in my setup] works quite well for me as it takes me from a list view (e.g. when I am looking at my starred list for today) directly to the hierarchical All Tasks view. And then double-clicking again conveniently take me back to my Starred view.

But is there is a way to do this with hotkeys (which would be much faster)?

Enter + Shift

Enter + Control

Enter + Alt

Or any other combination of the above ...} all seem to take me into editing the title.
