In a list of tasks in MLO, why do some tasks display "15 days" and other the correct date?

I have a list of birthdays in MLO, and one shows the due date of "In 18 days" and the next one has a due date of 24/11/2016.  Why don't they all just show the correct due date?  Is there an option I have not set?  My whole to-do list (outline and other views) is a mixture of proper dates and "In 26 days" etc.

It would make sense to do this for the current week as tasks get more urgent when they are due in the coming week. Other than that I would also rather see a date consistently.

This is user controlled. Check the user guide. Or I will be able to look it up for you in a couple of days.

Try to see at menu:

Tools / Options... / General Application Options / Themes and Formatting / Formatting / Date and Time Format... / tab:Advanced
There you should find the way to change it.

To find explanation on strings to be used, see at:

Tools / Options... / General Application Options / Themes and Formatting / Formatting / Date and Time Format... / tab:General
and click on "Learn more on format string".

Bye.
