Synching with gmail calendar on my android tablet and chromebook and iPhone

I have an iPhone and an Android tablet and a chromebook.  I have Todoist synced with my gmail calendar and it was a snap  I really like MLO and would love to use it but syncing with my calendar is a deal breaker.   I can't seem to do it.  Am I missing something or is this something MLO won't do

MLO 5 syncs with Google Calendar. In the top menu, under Synchronization, there should be an option that says "Sync Google Calendar". That's where you set it up. Just be aware that it doesn't sync instantly with Google Calendar as Todoist does. Plus, when you do sync, you have to manually do it, even when you close out of MLO.

Thank you for the prompt reply.  As much as i like the way MLO works, I think Todoist fits my needs best

Yes, i agree that it's a little bit inconvenient to sync mannualy using the mouse.

Here is an autohotkey script to triger Google Calendar sync by pressing F9 button:

#IfWinActive ahk_class TfrmMyLifeMain

F9::

ControlClick , TAdvGlowButton1, ahk_class TfrmMyLifeMain

If David is using Todoist then I think it's more than just the manual sync. He probably wants to be able to add tasks and sync to Google Calendar on the fly instantly and not be bound to sync on his desktop only. I totally get that.

Joel is right.  I work in a medical situation where I make appointments to see clients.  I want to be able to type my appointment in freehand like I can do in Todoist along with whatever details I have and have the appointment magically appear in my Google Calendar.   As much as I really like MLO, Todoist is the best fit for how I work
