change language in MLO for android back to English

Hi,

recently, MLO for Android changed for me to German (I am German and I live in Germany). I don´t know how that happened exactly. Windows version is still in English. And I am sorry to have to say it but the German translation is really irritating. I am used to the English terms and I would love to have my English version back. How do I get it?

Go to Settings>General Setting>Application Language 

& change to English.

Hmm....  I double check again & it seems the 1st option is system default (English). 

So I think u may need to switch your phone default language to English.

  Maybe we need a permanent English Language option here?  So it doesn't interfere with phone system language?

I was thinking about this, but it I find it really difficult. For example, I can't think of a goot equivalent of "starred" in German, it just doesn't exist. One would probably have to search through a lot of german applications to look what they are using. And as I am using the desktop version in English and am quite happy with it, I would prefer not to have two different languages. It is just easier, quicker, more intuitive if I don't have to switch languages. (Of course, generally speaking I appreciate the availability of a German version very much!)

Thank you for your information. Yes, you are right: I can change MLO to English if I change my phone system language. But I can't choose. I just don't have the "available language options" in MLO settings, even if I make my phone support English and German. MLO is always in the default language.

I agree with Miriam... I'm native German speaker too, but it would be helpful if the Android app could be optionally switched to English interface language.

BTW, I cannot find the setting to change the language. Was this removed? I'm running Android version 2.12.6.

Hi, I have some experience with localisation. I'd be happy to help you proofread and improve the German version. I'm a native German speaker (actually, bi-lingual German and English).

The current German text is HORRIBLE!!
