Three things behind the scenes that you probably can’t tell are happening:
1) Occasionally, but very rarely, emails to the group need “approval” to go out and as moderator from creating this Google Group, I am notified they need approval (but not for a couple days!) That's is what just happened..
2) When I created this Google Group, a.k.a. email list, I front-loaded it—before even adding anyone to the list—with the entire email history of everything I had concerning Musick Creek. As a result, the early archival part of this discussion list includes all the emails back to March 2002 when Jemmy announced to the community of the Mill that “Sierra Music and Arts Institute has purchased a beautiful piece of mountain property so as to never be homeless, come what may.” It also includes another tranche of emails about the Plan B Committee of Sweet’s Mill. (Plan A was to stay at the Mill, which was the path taken for that org.) I know nobody thinks to go look at those backstory emails, but in case anyone ever wants to, they are available when you look at this discussion list via the Google Website and scroll all the way to the beginning of the “conversations” using first the right arrow and then the scroll bar.
3) And that brings me to the third thing. You might know this already. In the footer of each email to this discussion, there is a link to that entire history of conversations. It’s hard to see, especially if you use a Gmail account, because they might hide it behind three dots.
So, making it easier to reach:
