help to start scenen in godot cannot find mpfslide for root node

could u please help me with making a scene in godot, in docs it says select mpfslide and i cant find that ,,,it also says  for picture that under texture select auto load, i cant find that ,i cant find sprite 2d either . i just need some help starting the scene and adding the nodes for text and pic  please

under the word "scene" there is a little + button. Click that and a search window will pop up. type MPF and all the MPF scene type will show on the list. Select the one you want.

its easy , just the plus button and the list comes up but you have to expand all the items in the list so at first glance u will be like what where ,thats not here, it is just expand them one by one till u find it, it will b there ,

and when u find them in list you will be like how the hell did i waste so much time on that ,,, the tutorial needs either the exact correct menu item names and where to find them or some pics to show the button and which menu to find all those things in,,, i guess if u had ever used godot before this would be fundamentaly simple but to a newcomer its decieving and i couldnt find mpf slide for the llife of me

Has anyone done a carousel , I can't get into accept the new way of writing item highlighted()

I made a carousel for a mode selection. What do you have written for yours that isn't working, maybe I can help.

hi buddy , i had the carousel working but i coulddnt hook into the item highlighted eveent as the syntax in the docs is totally wrong , i say that with confidence too lol, i just today got sent code and i got it in five min , the way it has to be written doent show in my logs like that and it definitely isnt whats in the docs

  correct way, and definitely not how the docs say, they read , item_highlighted{carousel='carousel, item='1', direction='forward'}

im not sur why we would even use forward or back as it doesnt usually matter in a carousel, either way things have tio stop or change
