Study leave and TELA laptops

Do you let teachers to keep their TELA laptops if they are away on study leave for a term?  If so, what does the reliever do?

Negotiate with the leaver. We currently have a teacher away on one term leave, he has his laptop, we have internal staff relievers (with their own lease machine) and one external that has her own laptop. In another scenario we have had a teacher away for a year, they had to hand over their laptop to the LTR. We then had that teacher come back on a job share 50/50, so we only allowed one laptop for the FTE position - we let them decide. One has the lease laptop, the other uses her own.
