Okay, let's name some actual marketing geniuses and analyze what makes
them special. Marketers all over the world would like to know the
answer to that one.
Unfortunately, I don't know any marketing geniuses, but I do know some
folks that are good at motivating people.
They have:
- unlimited optimism. If the sun exploded, they'd be happy that the
day was a little brighter.
- unlimited energy.
- total commitment. Even a trip to the grocery store is a chance to
push their agenda.
- good looks. The Hunchback of Notre Dame never convinced anyone of
anything.
- minor quirks, that distinguish them from so many others like them
without offending.

i only buy things to save me time. which is
usually far more intelligently frugal than
hoping to find something in the garbage.
