do you ever feel guilty for doing so?
i do sometimes, but usually only years later.
like, if i somehow find out later that there was some unjustified
damage i may have done with my artful mockery.
because people are pretty fragile.
(the mostly decent ones are, anyway).
the rest can fuck right off.

who do you mistrust, and why?

I've never acquired the skill of "artful mockery".
it's simply a matter of telling the truth in an amusing way.
the more you do it, the better you get at it.
however, the humor part is much harder to develop than the telling the
truth part.
(except for people like Ray, who can't improve either aspect).
probably because telling the truth takes courage and integrity.
and a sense of humor seems to be something that comes naturally or not
at all.
ba'dum, chsh!

making fun of people

Where I was raised, artful mockery was rewarded with the loss of a few
teeth. I learned to keep my mockery to myself.

i usually only artfully mock people who deserve to have all of their
teeth knocked out, for one reason or another.
the other times i artfully mock people is just in loving fun.
in both cases, they know which category they fall under.
(with very few exceptions, or mistakes).
