Despite my ingesting more calories than I'd
like, late yesterday due to my glucose failing
to go up despite a lot of carbs/calories, my
75 minute exercise routine (-2- 37 minute 30
second sessions per day) has now reduced my
BMI to 26.5 .
Sidenote: Tomorrow I'll find out how much of
my Regular, NPH, and Fiasp insulins & my syr-
inges are covered by my new health insurance
and will report back on that.
January 18 to 21 calories/fat/carbs/protein
and insulin dosages:
Jan 18 1,720 calories
25 fat, 305 carb, 99 protein
8 NPH, 14.5 Regular, Total = 22.5 units
Jan 19 1,520 calories
49 fat, 175 carb, 71.5 protein
8 NPH, 13 Regular, Total = 21 units
Jan 20 940 calories
33 fat, 100 carb, 70 protein
8 NPH, 12.5 Regular, Total = 20.5 units
Jan 21 1,635 calories
41 fat, 263 carb, 85 protein
8 NPH, 6.5 Regular, Total = 14.5 units
(mysteriously, late night glucose plunge
required a lot of carbs, but no glucose
rebound requiring anything other than ...
... my 3 NPH late happened all night long
before the glucose went back up after I
got up this morning; that's unusual, but
typical regarding the unpredictability of
Islit as usually, the glucose skyrockets
overnight after I ingest a lot of carbs ...
... to try to prevent evening hypoglycemia.
During the night and the lack of a glucose
rebound I had the feeling that I was amidst
a miraculous cure :-)
