Why the message "This build is NOT recommended for production use" ?

I use standard version only, even I'm donating or not.

Hi José,

Thanks for your request!

This has already been discussed here

Briefly:
1. The Standard build contains debug core code and standard Harbour compiler without optimization.
2. The Pro build contains reduced core code and optimized Harbour compiler for GUI app, added extra utils and libraries.
You can also get the Private MiniGUI builds for modern C compilers: MinGW 15.2,  BCC 7.70, MS VC 2022 or Zig by request.

Thank you for your attention.

Regards,
Grigory

Good morning everyone,
The message "This build is NOT recommended for production use." makes it clear that the intention of the developer or the Minigui development team is to treat a free project carelessly and dedicate more time to the paid version, as it implies that the free version is no longer secure.

In my opinion, if the development of Minigui is difficult, time-consuming, and costly for the developer or developers, a new developer or team should take over so that the project continues safely and impartially. I believe that donations are useful but should be spontaneous and not mandatory, as the message above implied.

I want to make it clear that this is my personal opinion.

Thank you.

Last discussion about this on july, here:

"> Does anyone have any construtive suggestion ?
Yes, I have this.

I will revert the MiniGUI build to its previous state in the next release:
- free standard build without any restrictions (along with all source code);
- paid Pro build for interested developers."

I have no time now, but I want to create a fork.
I want to group all libraries on an unique EXE, and this can't be made without internal changes.
What is the public version to do this ?
