Google drive in Safari v10.0.1 on Mac Book Pro with OS X EI Capitan. This is a status for newly created and upgraded my own mup files, that are viewing without extension and without option to copy or to download from Google Drive Folder List

MindMup 2 is using google drive realtime files, which you can't
download them directly from Drive (that's a Drive limitation, nothing
to do with us). To get the file, use File->Download as->MindMup from
the mindmup app.

Thanks for response.
But ...
1. I would like to know the size of file because of google drive space limit.
2. What does it mean "This file is stored on a third-party server"? For Google docs "Storage used 0 bytes Google docs files are free"
3. When trying File->Download as->MindMup from the mindmup app as suggested the result is
4. In both suggested options "upload to drive" or "open in new tab and save" I get mup files wit size but "Type: Unknown file.Created with MindMup 2.0 For Google Drive" and going through convertion process as files created with previous version of app

please propose this feature at https://mindmup.uservoice.com and you'll get notified when it's available

I have no idea where this message is coming from, it's not from us. Where are you seeing this message?

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by this, the sentence is incomplete.

Where do you see "upload to drive" or "open in new tab and save"? Which browser/OS are you using? This sounds as a browser compatibility problem.

2. Google drive List View -> Cursor on File size (-) -> You'll get "third party server"

1. Prev version file size is  in place Why it's feature to ask for?

this is a problem with google drive UI, so you should ask their support to fix it for you. Tell them that it's a Google Drive realtime file

because it's not implemented yet in this version, and we're using uservoice for new feature suggestion

What's wrong?

Safari doesn't support direct file downloads from links at the moment, which is why it's only offering to upload to Drive. After the upload completes, you'll get an exported file (.mup) in your drive and you can take that offline and re-import into MindMup. That file will have a proper size, and you can see how big your map is there. I'm not sure why Drive shows it as 'unknown file type', will investigate it. Alternatively, if you use Chrome or Firefox, you should get a 'Download' button instead of just 'Open in new tab', so you'll be able to grab the file directly instead of sending it to Drive first.

Thank You for support

I have to explain that currently the main issue is not the partly supported browser  or the complexity of process but the mismatch of versions
Here is the use case:
Safari v10.0.1 on Mac Book Pro with OS X EI Capitan, Gogle Drive, Mind Mup 2.0 for Google Drive
New -> MindMup 2.0 for Google Drive

The result is

Please confirm "drive.mindmup.com" in address bar

File details

After the changes

From application File -> Download as - >MindMup (???Version)

Upload to drive

Upload

File details

This file created by MindMup 2.0 but can be open with legacy version

Please pay attention to 3 nodes

When trying to open from "Upload complete" window

Option 2 "Open in new tab"

What format of file you suggest?

I will try the same process in Chrome
