My latest build has passed the continuous integration and should be available in the official master very soon. This brings TalkerAlias (TA), currently available only on netmon4, also to the normal RX screen during/after receiving a signal with TA. See instructions below, how to enable this feature.

Additional change notes to this build:
This build brings some changes to the md380tools setup:
To enable TA in statusline, select option "Talker Alias" from setup menu #3.
To enable full screen TA display select option "Talk Alias" or "TA & UserDB" from setup menu #4.
Due to the legacy keyb layout, the netmon screens are spreaded around, you found them on:
key "4" - netmon4 - lastheard and TA (if received)
key "2" - netmon5 - lastheard + LH channel and page status mark >>>>> channel << #n after 9 lines
key "0" - netmon6 - channel LH list, shows, where activity was received (helpful on longer monitoring)

Question is, where is the new codeplug placed for the md380-dfu to read/write to the radio? Is it placed in the same folder?
This is a grey area for many of us.
Thanks,
Steve-K8SAS
My radio is running this build, flashed 2017-03-04 now in a 24/7 non-stop burn-in-test since 2017-04-07 in permanent operation. That means, the radio was not powered off since more than 1 week - ~200 hours of continous operation.
I've been using this radio excessive a week ago on a trip to FUNK.TAG Kassel operating many repeaters, simplex operation on the exhibition, scanmode the whole day/week from last Sunday to this Saturday, permanently powered ON and put to the dash charger during the night.
The pagecounter #232 yesterday afternoon = 2320 lines logged
There have been recorded > 2000 callsign entries in the Netmon4 - LH list, hundreds of channel entries in the new Netmon6 - Channel list. I've been using the radio on a business trip, in portable operation and at home - many hours RX/TX without any issues, no hang, no stuck, no reboot. To avoid any issues also 3 friends of mine are using a build on MD380, RT8 and another MD390/G without any trouble and are very lucky with the new features.

Calogero,
The new firmware works with the MD380 with no GPS I have been using it and have no problems. Use the version of the new firmware identified as being for the no GPS radios. If you are using Warren KD4Z’s virtual appliance to install the firmware use the “flash” command and NOT the “flashgps” command.
