I've tried in several ways, but I cannot get my md380 radio to recognize user IDs on incoming calls. I ran "make updatedb flashdb" in md380tools. It reported a successful flash, but it does not recognize my ID when I make a call to myself through a parrot repeater. The call comes in and displays my ID correctly, but it says it was not found in the users.csv file. When I run "md380-tool lookup" on my ID, it returns my name and call sign. I also opened the user.bin file and verified that it has my entry.

I also tried using EditCP to "Write md380tools user database to radio". It downloaded the database and then reported that it wrote it to the radio. But it still does not recognize my ID when I make a call to Parrot.

I can update the firmware successfully with md380tools and I can write code plugs with EditCP successfully, so my computer to radio interface seems to be working. I also set the option in the radio Utilities/Md380Tools/Display/Show Call/User DB.

I'm running md380tools and EditCP on an Ubuntu 22.04 system, a system76 laptop running Pop!_OS.

Can anyone tell me what I'm missing.
