Hello. I've loaded the patched firmware to my new MD390, and it works great, but I've been having to fire up VirtualBox and a Windows VM to program because md380-dfu kind of silently fails to write a codeplug.

I've saved the rdt file from the Hytera software, then used md380-dfu write to send it.
I get this back:
4e011006
................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
Write complete

Then when I turn off the radio and turn it back on, I'm... right back where I started. I can read the codeplug in the Tytera software and it's even identical.

Where, if anywhere, is it even going in the radio's flash memory? Is it even writing? I have no idea. My only guess is it's getting written to the wrong place in memory - it's not clobbering the firmware, or the codeplug, but just going off into unused space. What is that 4e011006 - memory address/offset?

Yes, this is just me wanting to be a lazy potato and NOT have to start that VM every time I want to read or write the radio. The MD380 software runs just peachy under WINE but won't communicate with the radio. ;)

Versions:
Radio firmware - MD380Tools Ver. 2016-10-3
CPS: V.01.36
PC: Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS

Are you flashing the codeplug in flash-mode (power on with ptt and upper
button pressed) or in normal mode?

You MUST flash codeplugs with md380-dfu in normal mode!

Haha thank you, that'd explain it, I was in DFU.
