एखाद्या उपकरणाचे डेमन्स्ट्रेशन देण्यांदर्भात   " Sales Pitch" असा एक शब्दप्रयोग आहे.  " Sales Pitch" ला मराठीत शब्द सुचवता येईल का?

Sales Pitch ला कदाचित "विक्री तंत्र" जास्त जवळचा शब्द होईल. "योजना" म्हणजे प्लॅन, जो जास्त तपशीलवार असतो. Sales Pitch तुलनेत कमी तपशीलाचा, डायनॅमिक, आणि फोकस दाखवणारा असतो.

मित्रहो, Sales Pitch ही संज्ञा विक्री प्रतिनिधी ग्राहकांना आपल्या माल विकत घेण्यास प्रवृत्त करण्याकरता जे काही बोलतो, त्याकरता वापरली जाते. ते तंत्र नव्हे, ते स्थानही नव्हे. प्रत्येक विक्री प्रतिनिधी एका विशिष्ट पद्धतीने आणि विशिष्ट शब्दांतच त्याच्या ग्राहकांशी बोलतो. यालाच त्याचा सेल्स पिच असे म्हणतात. अजून फोड करायची झाल्यास क्रिकेटमध्ये बोलरने उजव्या यष्टिबाहेर चेंडू टाकला याला पिच्ड आऊटसाईड द ऑफ स्टंप म्हणतात. पिचिंग म्हणजे फेकणे. विक्रीच्या बाबतीत त्याचा अर्थ कशा पद्धतीने आपले बोलणे मांडले (भाषा, शब्द, हेल, आघात), कुठले मुद्दे मांडले (मजकूर), या सर्वांची गोळाबेरीज म्हणजे सेल्स पिच.

एखाद्याचे "विक्री कौशल्य" अशा रीतीनेही "सेल्स पीच"चे वर्णन करता येऊ शकेल. पण त्याचा खरा अर्थ विक्रीकरताची वस्तुभलामण असाच असेल.

It is a good word. I still feel that sales pitch is more than praising the goods at hand. It is  convincing the potential buyer of comprehensive benefit of the deal.

Pitch is a word which does mean the area but more than that it also means how the salesman pitches his item/items.
