Hello Mappers,
We’re delighted to have such passionate mappers who bring in continuous ideas to improve Google Map Maker. We’ve incorporated some of your valuable suggestions with this release. You can post your thoughts and suggestions on this update here.

Introducing Segregated parallel lane/ trail as a new Line feature
In discussions on the forum and issue tracker, we decided to support bicycle facilities that are part of the same logical road, but physically separated from the motor vehicle lanes. This is important for biking directions, especially in Europe.
Segregated parallel lane/ trail should be selected for roads that have an adjacent bicycle lane or trail separated from the main motor traffic lanes.
Additional Categories now show correctly
Earlier, the "Additional Categories" list was not shown correctly for some languages, such as English (UK) and French (Canadian).
This is now fixed!
Road Runner tool now works in tune:
The Road Runner issue reported in the release feedback has been taken care of. You will no longer face trouble when using the Road Runner tool.
It was observed that while adding further road segments after marking a road segment using the Road Runner Tool, the node to be added moved away from the Mouse arrow pointer. This is now fixed!
Enabled the message bar to show Edit Now when features are immediately Approved
This was a special request from our mappers of the Dubai User Conference. For features that are immediately approved, you’ll now see an “Edit Now” message on the top yellow bar.
Clicking Edit Now would open the approved feature for you to edit.

The creation of neighbourhoods of Australia/Ukraine country code now works
Earlier, it was observed that our mappers faced some problems when creating neighborhoods for Australia and Ukraine. This has been fixed.

This was another request from our mappers of the Dubai User Conference. With this change, you’ll now be able to add multiple names while using the Select road segments option from the Edit menu.
