Intelligent room controller: How can I make the cooling temperatures appear in the user interface?

Hi guys,

I cannot make the cooling temperatures (comfort, eco) appear in the user interface.
In the user interface I cannot edit cooling temperatures. The cooling icon is greyed out and crossed. Here's what I mean (see the screenshot) and part of the config (another screenshot).

And here's the part of the configuration:

Any ideas? Thanks a lot!

Cheers,
AG

One problem is your Intelligent Room Controller only has the H1 output
connected, and not C1. This makes it think only heating is possible.
(you need to connect both or neither. Or just use the HC1 output).

(It's trying to be too intelligent for my liking - and inconsistent
with the rest of Loxone, there's very few logic blocks that radically
alter behaviour based on output connections. In my simplistic mind
inputs should control behaviour not outputs)

Thanks Jonathan,

trying to dig into your comments.

There are the following heating and cooling sources:
1. heating source: boiler (called "Piec)
2. heating/cooling source: a/c (Daikin)

But when I check the assignments in the Intelligent Room Controller I see the following:

Isn't it the problem that myheating source (the boiler) is not assigned as "H" Heating, and the heating/cooling source (a/c Daikin) is not assigned as "HC" heating/cooling?
If so - is there a way to adjust those assignments, which were done automatically by Loxone config?

Many thanks,
AG

Sorry I don't think I understand the question - you  adjust the assigned heating/cooling sources by clicking the "2/3 Objects assigned" text and editing in the dialog that comes up, per your first screen shot:  The red X removes rows, the Add button adds in new rows, the tick boxes select which are used for heating or cooling.
I'd change the things on the H1 output to use HC1 instead, and/or connect something (even just a dummy Memory Flag input) to the HC2 output. This is not a crisp answer as I don't exactly know what the problem is, I'm just suggesting things to try. End of the day I can only fixed this sort of thing by trying some stuff and see what works. (Make lots of project backups as you go :-)

Sure, sure, I completely understand that it's hard to be precise when you're not  sitting in front of the computer seeing the whole config.

Anyway - your first tip worked. Adding a dummy memory flag to the HC2 output did the trick.

I have to say that this behaviour of Loxone config is not intuitive to me. I was expecting that it would be enough to assign a cooling source (in my case a  climate controller for the Daikin a/c unit) as I had done. Apparently not enough.

Thanks!
Cheers

Glad you got it working, it does take some trial and error especially these more complex behaviour blocks.
As another example, today I found that connecting the DisP input on a Lighting controller block disables the Br input, so far as I can tell. You can either use light brightness to disable automatic lighting, or the DisP input, but not both. This isn't mentioned anywhere I can see in docs, just deduced from experimentation.

I agree Loxone Config is not entirely intuitive, but I still find it about 100x better than ETS !

I'm not sure I follow. I've got modes connected to the DisP input to stop the lights coming on at night, and the presence sensor's light sensor attached to the Br input so that the lights do turn on at night, and it all works fine.
