Hi all

As posted before (https://groups.google.com/d/topic/loxone-english/XpzK5mfPnCw/discussion) I've worked through handling water damage in my Loxone system. I coming out of the woods as the system has been running without errors for a month now. Based on Loxone's recommendation I replaced the three power supplies powering the system, but I also replaced a Value Actuator Tree and Motion Sensor Tree as these were displaying Errors in the Device Status. The Motion Sensor was situated in another room than where the water damage occured, so my guess is that it was affected through the wires by the shortcutting which occured in the mains board. I'm now discussing with the insurance company how I /we will deal with future situations where other Loxone components stop working "ahead of time", as I don't want to end up, in the future, paying for replacements which came early due to any shortcutting/overvoltage damage.

But what is the expected lifetime for Loxone components?

I've searched high and low on the Loxone website, in this forum and on the internet, but have not found any mention of how long one should expect a Mini server, Touch Pure, Motion Sensor or any other component to last...

I hope someone here can offer some insight, but I'll of course also ask Loxone Support, although I expect a very guarded answer from them as they would otherwise have documented it already.

Kind regards Jakob
