Good morning studious tigers!!

Are you secretly a poet? Are you working on a novel? Do you love when
your teachers give you the freedom to write creatively? If so, then
you should think about signing up for Young Writer's Camp. This camp
runs from June 25th-July 13th from 9 to noon here in Berkeley. It's a
place to let your imagination run wild. Look up Bay Area Young
Writer's Camps 2012 on the internet or see Ms. Faur in rm 214 for more
info.

1. May is the last month of the school year for checking out library
books. The final due date for all library books will be May 29.

Please remember to return all library books on or before the due date.

2. Library Book Clubs will resume regular meetings next week.

6th Grade Book Club meets at lunch in the library on Tuesdays and
Thursdays.

The Comic Book Club meets again on May 15 in the library at 7th and
8th grade lunch.

Congratulations to the 6th and 7th grade jazz band led by Dave Ellis
for a great performance at Yoshis last night. Follow your passion.
It takes you to great places!!

Today’s healthy and delicious lunch is tamales or chicken. Try a
school lunch. Or bring a healthy lunch from home. Do not walk around
trying to beg from someone. Lunch is out at lunch time. Go get
yourself some. There is no reason for you to be hungry at school,
especially during lunch time.

Track team will practice with Ms. Denise.

Please turn in your baseball and softball uniforms.

Today is a short day for you students. Teachers have to stay behind
for collaboration so you students, be really nice to your teachers
today. They have to stay later than you to help make this school a
better place.

A flute is lost. The name “Adrianna Hernandez’ is written on blue
tape on the box. If you find this flute, please bring it to the front
office.
