la .camgusmis. suggested fu'ivla for that. As we don't have algorithm for that I suggest

{cenrini}
- similar to Mandarin "肾 - shen4", Romance [rini-] (Latin "ren"), a bit similar to [kidni], [brik], [dzinzo], [niere].

Did you come up with this list yourself? What is its source?

German would be nir (final vowels are not considered, AIUI).

or "ronion", if you put "rinion" for Spanish, for consistency. Also in
Portuguese, the "m" in "rim" is not pronounced as the consonant "m"; it
indicates that the vowel is nasal. In French, "rein" is said when the kidney
is alive and "rognon" when it's cooked.

I didn't realize your list was part of this discussion last month. In the original gismu list, the final vowels, and possibly also non-morphemic endings like "en" or "er" in German "Magen", "Rücken", "Becher" were left off, just as you did for Russian почка (potck-).

Thanks for the thread reminder.

Please, make corrections to the list. (Although I wouldn't remove "m" from "rim". We should somehow retain nasalisation, may be by changing to "ren").

I don't think I said it, but "cenrini" sounds good to me.

If no more objections I'm gonna add it to jvs.

(However, Mandarin "shen" and Latin "ren" sound very similar, I'd say mysteriously similar)
