Madame Chair,

My prior email calling for your resignation, and that of the vice chair and secretary, was genuine, for the reasons stated.

I believe it's the right thing to do, and the only path to save the LP and our upcoming convention.

Up until this moment, I'd not given any meaningful thought to getting involved with the "derivative" lawsuit against you and/or the LNC that I know we've all heard about.  Never seriously considered it.  That may well change.

You three need to do the right thing.   Right now.   For the good of the Party.   As I've stated before, I know it's difficult to admit failure.  But the reality is,  you as leaders have mismanaged this organization to the cusp of ruin.  

Step back, get out of the way, and let others step in.  

I'm sure you'll be happy to know that I'm not going to ask again.

The last 6 months of the term the LNC always goes insane. We need to hold it together, act professionally and fundraise. 

Stop name calling on the list. The personal insults and posturing don't improve revenue.

Mark, I assume you're writing us back into your will and telling all of your friends to donate and purchase convention packages, since you're concerned with our finances.

There seems to be a serious lack of decorum in this e-mail chain. While Mark's language may be harsh, it is germane to the discussion, as it is his opinion as a board member regarding the content of our treasurer’s report.

 

Like it or not, the rights of board members should be protected and likewise their opinions should be capable of being expressed freely up to and including a call for resignation.

 

I ask that you address this post haste, lest it spiral further out of hand. Let’s get back to the substance of our treasurer's email.
