SVG support -- what's wrong?

Hi all,

I tried to include an SVG image in my book https://leanpub.com/deploy/ just the same as I would with any other image:


and manuscript/images/installation.svg exists, and for example Firefox renders it just fine (it's generated by LibreOffice Draw).

However in both the preview and the published output, I only get the black triangle with white exclamation mark that indicates a missing image.

The email from publishing the newest version doesn't mention the SVG image at all, so I have no idea what went wrong.

Does anybody have any idea what I might be doing wrong? Or is this a leanpub bug?

Does leanpub support SVG?

I thought they only supported JPEG and PNG.

That's correct, currently we only support JPEG and PNG images, sorry.

Right, it seems I've mixed up markua (which, according to the docs, supports SVG) with leanpub-flavored markdown.

An error message about an unsupported image format would be nice though.
