Sandee, thanks for the interest. I have an RA who has been working on a=20
version for Windows Phone. If you know how to install from an .xap file,=
=20
you can load the experimental (alpha) version from=20
http://scriptures.byu.edu/wpsci. Do you know which version of Windows=20
Phone operating system you have? Is it 7.0 or 7.5?

I love the work done with the Citation Index. It would be nice if we could=

incorporate more content all online in one site.

An online site that contains the scriptures.
Each verse let's you incorporate comments that could be personal or shared.=

Ability to highlights verses for personal marking. The personal markings=20
online would be per individual, but you could possibly share those with=20
others.

Integrate the Citation Index

Chiasmus
Hebrew / Greek Translation
Links to or comments by BYU professor papers.
Color distinction on the comments to help you know right away if it is=20
content from General Conference, or if it is by a professor / CES, or from=

Fred, thanks for the suggestions. I've been talking with Taylor Halverson=

here at BYU's Center for Teaching and Learning, and he has similar=20
thoughts. I'm teaching a web development course to our graduate IS=20
students this semester, and we're working on a related project. You can=20
see http://scriptures.byu.edu/mapscrip for a first version of some future=
=20
possibilities. This puts the Google Earth plugin side-by-side with the=20
scriptures. We have geocoded place names from OpenBible.info for the=20
Bible, and I marked up a few of the Church history sites referenced in the=
=20
D&C. There is a ton of material available at places like BYU Studies, the=
=20
Maxwell Institute, JosephSmithPapers.org, and so on. It would be very cool=
=20
to let the user select layers of resources they care to see (including=20
standard LDS footnotes), and also to have an online study journal. I have=
=20
stories/thoughts about particular verses that mean a lot to me, and I'd=20
love to be able to share those with my family and friends. Anyway, we're=
=20
tinkering with the ideas now, and hope to release a vastly improved website=
=20
in the future.
