Since motoplaner is stopped I am looking for a comparable alternative and luckily found Kurviger :-)

Unfortunately the currently suggested way to create Sygic Output is way less comfortable compared to motoplaner.
Could you please add the URL based Output Format? It allows importing routes to the sygic app by a simple click on the link you e.g. mail yourself.

The format is quite simple, you can find the detailed description here:

An simple example of an route consisting out of 3 waypoint Looks like:

com.sygic.aura://coordinate|9.594259|47.638708|9.576387|47.685354|9.577812|46.343762|drive

I hope this can be done soon :-)

Thanks,

Frederik

Hi Frederik,

thanks for the examples and link to the documentation. It seems Sygic changed the way they import routes. In an earlier version they only supported the import of complex binary files. Kurviger uses RouteConverter for the conversion of most export formats. I forwarded your request to the RouteConverter forum here. Once RouteConverter supports this format, we can easily add it to Kurviger as well.

Cheers,
Robin

Hi Frederik,

I had the same problem and created a small Excel Tool to fix the problem.

Best regards

Hi Dominik,

very good workaround.
Thanks!

Nevertheless Sygic.txt is added soon. 1st because otherwise Excel is needed, 2nd until now thee is the Limit of 25 waypoints.

I did alread look into route converter to check if I could come up w/ a proposal for an Output Routine. Unfortunately my Java skills are more than limited :-(

Frederik

Hi Frederik,

Christian from RouteConverter is always open for PRs and is probably also happy to give you a hint or two to get started.

There is always the workaround to export a GPX from Kurviger, convert this with Routeconverter and use the Excel from Dominik to convert it to a Sygic Url. We are looking into providing a real Sygic export.

Cheers,
Robin

The Sygic Export has been added to the website. Please let us know, in our new Forum, if everything works as expected or if anything needs to be improved.
