00:07:06 Itamar Holder (iholder101): DevConf?

00:07:09 ehaas: DevConf is not yet open?

00:07:10 Vladik Romanovsky: @aburden I'd like to have some time to chat about kubebuilder validations today

00:07:32 Igor Bezukh: ContainerDays Hamburg 2026 is also open for CfP

00:07:48 Vladik Romanovsky: also, VEP76 needs immediate attention - reviews

00:09:09 aburden: https://github.com/kubevirt/community/blob/main/ai-contribution-policy.md

00:09:28 Jed Lejosne: Please make sure you review the policy if you're going to use AI to help write PRs

00:12:27 Alan Caldelas: I think its a good idea

00:12:39 fossedihelm: I usually try to follow: https://www.conventionalcommits.org/en/v1.0.0/#summary

00:14:10 aburden: We can also add it to the new contributor guide (docs)

00:14:58 Igor Bezukh: +1 for propose and agree on a policy

00:17:35 Roni Kishner: Replying to "We can also add it..."

Can you link it so I may take a look?

00:18:19 aburden: Replying to "We can also add it t..."

https://kubevirt.io/user-guide/contributing/

00:18:38 Itamar Holder (iholder101): @Roni Kishner if we continue this on the mailing list, I'd appreciate if you can come up with a few quick bullets to frame the discussion. For example:

Do not exceed 80 characters in one line.

Always start with "feat/bug/..."

00:18:46 Itamar Holder (iholder101): These may be silly examples, but you get the idea :)

00:19:23 aburden: Replying to "We can also add it t..."

It would probably live in the kubevirt reviewer docs, and we could link to that in the docs

00:21:18 xpivarc: It is not must but  that is a place where we can go deeper :)

00:32:18 Jed Lejosne: Either works for me
