Not Áudio in Call.

I have Ivoz Provider, 99% functional. I receive calls from the Operator, handle them and send them to FreePBX. However, there is always a problem... I have no audio on the call, I receive the call from the operator and do not send it to FreePBX.

And what I noticed is that I have a problem with both the MySQL Connector and Iptables in reference to RTPEngine.

Good afternoon everyone, please, is version 4.4 of Ivoz Provider not stable? Does it really have all these inconveniences with Debian 12? Well, what I'm facing is that IPTABLES is no longer used in Debian 12, so ivozprovider-rtpengine cannot perform the procedures in dealing with tables in IPTABLES. Another point is this Warning informing that there are inconsistencies in the tables, any guidance to solve this?? I mean without having to reinstall everything!!! Thank you!

Well, I managed to solve the problem reported in this email. I did the following:

# sudo apt install dkms linux-headers-$(uname -r) build-essential
# sudo apt-get install --reinstall ivozprovider ivozprovider-*
# reboot

Now I'm going to do a call test to see if I have audio on both ends of the call. For now, thanks for the support and guidance.

Hi,

I'm a bit late to the party, but the usual check for this problem is validate you have xt_RTPENGINE module compiled for the running kernel.

~# dkms status
rtpengine/11.5.14, 6.1.0-32-amd64, x86_64: installed

~# uname -a
Linux tempest-test-provider01 6.1.0-32-amd64 #1 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Debian 6.1.129-1 (2025-03-06) x86_64 GNU/Linux

If the kernel doesn't match, then it's probably because linux-headers-amd package is not installed for your running kernel.

After installing kernel headers you can just reinstall ivozprovider-rtpengine package

~# apt install --reinstall ivozprovider-rtpengine

Latest version of ivozprovider-rtpengine package compiles the module for all kernels with headers available, but in some cases, the modules is just compiled for the newest kernel, so it only works after a reboot (when the new kernel is used).

Do both instance of Kamailio (trunk and user) proxy media using the installed RTPengine? In my lab, the proxyusers is on a public IP while the “trunk” proxy uses a VPN IP. For inbound calls from users (Retail account),  I’ve noticed that the SDP’s c= line advertises the proxyusers IP, which is causing one-way audio. Any guidance on correcting this behaviour would be appreciated.
