hello, I have installed version 4.2 standalone.
alice and bob register and can call each other, but there is no audio in the call.

I never really got ivozprovider working with a single ip address. But I will try to troubleshoot. Is this directly on the Internet or is it behind a router (so effectively NATted). If NATted, you are going to need to know Kamailio to me able to modify the config. Do you have a pcap? Can you tell what IP address the audio is being sent to?

This error suggests an issue with the iptables kernel module used by RTP Engine.

Please ensure you have the latest available kernel installed (and reboot if necessary):

apt update

apt install linux-image-amd64 linux-headers-amd64

Additionally, verify that the kernel module is compiled by checking the output of:

dkms status

If needed, you can force a module recompilation by reinstalling the ivozprovider-rtpengine package:

apt install --reinstall ivozprovider-rtpengine

If this is related to https://github.com/irontec/ivozprovider/issues/2450 and the way the rtpengine kernel module was installed, we've improved the process to support multiple kernels in https://github.com/irontec/rtpengine/pull/4, so this issue is now less likely to occur.

Hello Kaian,

Thank you for your response. I got around this by installing the "official" v4.3 iso. This had 6.1.0-29-amd64. I had the no-audio issue with the latest version of Debian 12 which had 6.1.0-34-amd64.

I will look up the reference and test in a lab again.

I'm having the same problem. No audio is transmitted between internal calls. Any recommendations? I've tried everything and still no audio.

Hi,

Is rtpengine kernel module loaded?

Check with lsmod or try to load with modprobe xt_RTPENGINE
