Dears,
Remember, the deadline for planner submission is January,
10, 2014. Make sure to submit your code in time. Please carefully check the planners submission instructions:
Please remember that planners submission will be made only through
the DES system. Submissions done by email will not be accepted.
Everything will be based on scripts "plan" and "build". No "sudo"
commands are allowed in these scripts. If you are using additional
executable files, make sure that they can be executed.
The software of the IPC 2014 will automatically invoke the "plan"
script to start every planner with three parameters: "domain problem
plan.soln" as in the two last editions. Make sure that your code is able
to process domain and problem files located in relative paths (e.g.
"../domain/domain.pddl")
Make sure the plans that your planner produces are compliant with the
format recognized by VAL. You can find VAL 4.2.09, that will be used during
the competition, on the IPC-14 website.
In the case you are using external software (e.g., CPLEX, ...) remember to add the "import" or "include" command in your scripts.
Cheers, and Season's greetings :)

Dears,
You will shortly (1~2 days) find a file, called "validate", in your homedir on DES. It is the executable of the version of VAL that will be used for validating the generated plans during the competition.
