ついて，以下のメッセージをいただきましたので掲載します．
Dear Colleagues in Japan,
We are delighted that you have a DGS forum in Japan. We are working
with GeoGebra (http://geogebra.org) and hopefully you will try it and
find it useful. GeoGebra is rapidly gaining popularity in the teaching
and learning of mathematics around the world. Currently, GeoGebra is
translated to 52 languages, used in 190 countries, and downloaded by
approximately 300,000 users in each month. This increased use
compelled the establishment of the International GeoGebra Insitute
(IGI) that serves as a virtual organization to support local GeoGebra
initiatives and institutes. Hopefully, you will find an opportunity to
establish GeoGebra Institutes in Japan and we will be able to better
assist you in your work.

If you are coming to the ATCM conference in December Zsolt will be
there and we can talk about developments and institutes in Asia.

When I heard that there has been a mailing list set-up for DGS in Japan I was delighted. It is very nice to see that there is a growing community of people who care about using the computer in teaching and research of geometry and mathematics in general. We try to give a very small contribution to this by continuing our development of Cinderella. Unfortunately, my Japanese is too bad for participating in the discussions, but thanks to Iritani-sensei we can still get the feedback of our Japanese users in order to improve Cinderella, as we know its shortcomings. Please don't hesitate to send your suggestions. Also, I am happy to discuss all things related to DGS and technology in mathematics education in English language. Just send me an email to my address korte...@cermat.org. At CERMAT, the Centre for Educational Research in Mathematics and Technology, we are also interested in doing research that explores the cultural differences in mathematics education. We feel that we now almost nothing about this, and any progress in these matters would be welcome.
Thank you again for setting up the mailing list! I am sure that this will make a huge difference for the DGS community in Japan.

私はシンデレラ２をインストールしてあります。
Ver2.1 build numberは1126（2009/07/21）です。
家元のβ版は既に以下のようになっています。
Current build number is 1403 of 2010/10/13 14:17.

お待たせしました。
ダウンロードとインストール方法について、改訂していました。

に詳細を書きましたが、ざっとご質問にお答えします。
1) 1.4版をインストールしてある場合
そのままで共存できます。
2) 初めてCinderella.2をインストールする場合
Windows ダウンロードしたインストーラを起動して進めばよいです。
Mac 圧縮されたファイル(tar) がダウンロードされます。ダブルクリックすればCinderella.2のパッケージがでてきます。
3) すでにCinderella.2をインストールしてある場合
Windows 以前の版に上書きされます。
Mac パッケージですので、以前の版と共存します。もし、同じフォルダ内にCinderella2があれば
Cinderella2(2) のように自動的に名前を変えて新しいものができます。どちらもダブルクリックすれば動きます。

８月にかなりの改訂がなされました。CindyScriptで図のデータを書き出すには現在の版でないとできません。
新しくすることを勧めます。
なお、ライセンスは無期限なので一旦ライセンスをとればずっと使えます。
ライセンスは、ライセンスキーがファイルで送られてくるので、それを保存しておくことを勧めます。
そうすれば、コンピュータを変えてもライセンスファイルを読み込めば使えます。
また、代金を払わない場合、15分で止まってしまいますが、一旦終了すればまた使えます。
作成中のものは10分程度で保存しておけばよいでしょう。
代金は為替レートに左右されますが、今ですと6千円強ではないかと思います。
学校の場合、サイトライセンスがあります。約3万円で、学生・教員とも人数制限なく使えます。
磐田南高校はそのようにしています。生徒にとってはフリーウェアと同じです。
