Hi all.
When i loading this game, i received this message ----> "The game may
not be consistant because AGP is deactivated, Please activate AGP for
consistancy."
If i slip this window, the game loads, but very laggy.

I have a netbook with here is that this configuration:
Intel Atom n270 1,6 Ghz
1 GB ram
Intel GMA 950 (tried stock driver, 1.1 md, 1.0 md)
Windows 7

I know, that this is very wick configuration BUT: I can normally play
Unreal Tournament 2004 without lag, games are using same engines and
released in same time.

I understand that there are different situations with the games, but
that this man is playing with acceptable FPS:

They have same config ! <----

Maybe somebody knows, how to solve problem.
Thx for any help

Try installing the latest directx redist.

Is agp acceleration enabled on dxdiag?

It's ok, it's turned on and that's what's important. If other games
running the same engine work, and there are no similar known issues
with that game in particular, I can only assume your install files
might have been corrupted somehow. Try installing it from a different
source.

I'm playing the official Indonesian version of Lineage II (or to be
exact, "I was", because I've had enough with inconsistent promises of
the GMs. helped them for more than 2 years collecting player
violations, and they turned me down for not punish players who broke
the rules more than half a year).

I have a 945GM laptop, and I also have "The game may not be consistant
because AGP is deactivated, Please activate AGP for consistancy."
message everytime I start playing.

it's not the game's fault. it's more likely because of our built-in
chipset. and of course you have to either click OK or close the
message to begin playing. in short, "just accept the message".

for the video lagging problem:
- try to use smaller resolution available (if playing in fullscreen
mode)
- or put a custom window size via Option.ini (if playing in windowed
mode. mine was GamePlayViewportX=936 and GamePlayViewportY=702... at
least that size is enough for me, still retain 4:3 ratio. don't know
if it's affect the game, but I like exact ratio ^^')

- I'm one of the "care less of eyecandy" person type when playing
(except I want to do a really good screenshot), so I put almost all
the graphic section in low quality, uncheck Ground, uncheck Shadow,
etc (...well, maybe except NPC Range on maximum because I need full
target location visibility, and Terrain Range on Nedium or Near,
enough to understand my surroundings... once again, it's my
preference).

- uncheck the GPU Animation. I got 1-3 FPS reduced if I checked it on
my 945GM.

- check Decrease Background Performance.
uncheck it if you can play more than one window (I play 2 windows
usually) + all of them is active (hunting, walking, etc).
if you also have more than 2 CPU cores, then put different CPU
affinity on each window (very useful in reducing critical error).
if you play more than one window, but only one is active (the others
are busy vending items), then you don't need to uncheck the option and
do the affinity.

- use software TnL mode in registry for l2.bin. helps get rid of bad
lighting effects
http://i941.photobucket.com/albums/ad255/polisi_lineage2/zero.jpg =>
this is registry value 0
http://i941.photobucket.com/albums/ad255/polisi_lineage2/one.jpg =>
this is registry value 1 (actually, any value that's not zero, for
this game.. but just use value 1 for simple)

- the other settings are in l2.ini, but it's encrypted. even though I
know how to modify it, I won't tell because it's against the game's
EULA (don't worry about not be able to modify it. it won't give you
high FPS boost unless you make the settings so low until your char and
its surroundings just look like polygons, and you're okay with that,
seeing only polygons in the game ^_^').

forgot something...
especially for this game, this is the longest online game I've played
until now, so I'll help whenever I can
but don't ask me for cheating and botting problems, though, because I
hate them
I only play FULL MANUAL

~of course I'm materially-poor in any games I play, but at least it's
my own hard work, and I'm proud of it~

nice step by step ^^

seeing that problem, it reminds me doesnt it caused by windows service that monitors performance, and WILL deactivated when performance is low or some sort...ive read it somewhere though i cant remember...

cool game btw, although i spent less time on MMO...lol, btw kiki , is there any other MMO u can recommend me? im kinda bored and running out of games to play...lol, and why not, havent try other MMO until now...

try Kitsu Saga. who knows you might like it.
both the installer and the installed client is small enough, so it
won't take much space (around 1GB download, and another 1 GB+ when
installed)

system requirement is also low enough
http://kitsusaga.aeriagames.com/overview/sysreq => they say it needs
2GB of space, but my installed client is just around 1.1GB

about the graphics, because the requirement is already that low, of
course it's not very good like single player games, but it's amazed me
enough to see what a simple *.DDS files can do

gameplay, this one is strange enough. one of the big difference with
other MMORPG games is the CHI system (basically, it's MP). most single-
target skills will gain CHI, while AOE skills consume CHI. once you
can manage them, you don't have to worry about lack of MP when
hunting.

Grand Fantasia is also a good game, although it's like an older
version of Kitsu Saga. most people that already try both usually will
tell KS is better than GF.

I want to try other MMO, but either:
- I don't have time to download and learn their gameplay, or
- I don't have space big enough to install them, or
- I can't meet the minimum requirement for the game ^_^'

I'm an RPG and MMORPG person, so I'm sorry if I can't help recommend
games that are non-RPG, if that's what you seek.
